Elephant Bar Functions
The Elephant Bar is a fully equipped cocktail bar consisting of two elegant function areas which are perfect for any occasion, from birthdays, engagements and weddings to office meetings/parties and farewell celebrations.
The décor is one of detailed opulence, with the couches and wingback chairs complementing the traditional style of the Royal Hotel. High ceilings and the hand painted frieze complement the late Victorian interior design.
The cocktail food menu is quite an extensive list of hot and cold finger food, offering some vegetarian items. The choice of cocktail food for your function depends on your budget and requirements. To avoid disappointment, it is necessary to confirm your menu selection and final numbers at least 3 days before the event.
The Elephant Bar stocks a comprehensive range of spirits, liqueurs and fine wines. A selection of Australian and imported bottle beers are available as well as the famous Elephant Bar cocktails. Drinks can be provided by the host in the form of a bar tab, or guests can buy their own across the bar.
The smaller back two rooms hold up to 50 people and are available 7 days and nights. The front room holds from 70 - 100 people and is
only available from Monday to Thursday. Only one area is closed for a private function at a time.
There is a hire charge of $110 for a single back room, $165 for the two rooms and $220 for the front room. Your booking is confirmed on receipt of a Credit Card number. A $200 cancellation fee will be charged to your card if the function is cancelled within 14 days.

Please note that the Elephant Bar is only permitted to trade to 12:00 am Monday through Saturday and to 10:00 pm on Sundays.
